Your Lost Memories is the story of Rubén, the creator of a website whose mission is to reunite discarded 8mm reels with their original owner. Rubén’s secret: a fatal traffic collision left him not only without his parents [ or family] but also without his memories before the accident. He does not remember anything not even Ana, his girlfriend. His emptiness develops into obsession when Rubén starts to merge his memories with the images passing through his projector, constructing an imaginary past and transforming himself into someone that not even Ana recognizes. He begins confusing his real life with the lives of the people on film celebrating birthdays, vacationing, and spending time with loved ones.
