Nobody’s Home is a docu-essay on communities, work and death in two elderly communities: a retirement home in a growing urban setting in Barcelona called “Palomar” (Barcelona) and a former colony in Ciñera (Leon), a mining town facing population decline and economic globalisation. The film deals with issues of work and care and the fear of disappearing and how these influence the politics of ageing.
